BOWSER

Andrew Bowser is a writer, director, and performer whose comedy-horror work has built a devoted cult following. Bowser is best known as the creator of Onyx, a gloriously awkward would-be occultist who started as an online character and grew into a feature film, Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls. Onyx premiered in the midnight section of Sundance in 2023. Bowser’s next project - Frankenbabes from Beyond the Grave! premiered at Fantastic Fest in 2025.

His audience reaches well beyond the festival circuit, with more than 1.1 million followers on TikTok and 285K subscribers on YouTube.

Bowser’s latest viral character is Pastor Phil, whose videos have already passed 5 million views. Bowser is currently developing new projects that build on the same mix of heart, horror, and absurdity his followers have grown to love.
